When someone views one of the web pages of content you created, there will be a Google ad shown on the page. You can have your Google Adsense account code embedded in that ad if you are a Community Contributor. Each time someone clicks on the ad, you will accrue earnings from Google - they share a small amount of their ad revenue with you and pay you directly once it reaches a certain minimum amount.
